Last year's WICKED day raised £4,000 in aid of Thrive, a national charity that uses gardening to help disabled people transform their lives. Thrive offers help to people in their own home or at its two gardens in Battersea and Reading, through structured horticultural therapy programmes. Susan Stuart, Battersea Garden Project Manager said "We are very grateful for the money WICKED has raised for us through WICKED DAY. This has contributed to improvements being made as part of our £765,000 re-development of this garden project which will significantly increase the number of disabled people we can help in London."
